As Christmas crafts are my favourite I'm returning with some little elf shoes. They were a cinch to make. The gorgeous pattern and instructions are available from the lovely Dawn Edmonson at her Etsy shop here. I've made mine from snuggly fleece and decorated with a selection of lace, trims and charms from my stash. Sure it's never to early to prepare for Christmas!
Very many thanks for your visit.
Nicola x

Thanks so much Lynne, have sent you mail. Just for others, there is no sewing machine involved. Everything is glued save for hand stitching on charms and bow. Nicola x

ReplyDeletehow utterly gorgeous , love love love x
ReplyDeleteDawn Edmonson sure has great patterns, and you did justice to all of the pattern's potential. It looks like you used natrual cotton batting, and it looks like you used two different laces to adorn the heels. Those fabulous musical instruments are the PERFECT and unexpected finishing detail for these.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could get more excited about Christmas in the summertime, but I always leave those projects till the last moment (two months), and that just isn't enough time. You may have inspired me to think "elf shoes" sooner. Sorry it took me so long to leave a comment, because you were one of my favorites straight out of the gate!
Oh my goodness - these are sooooo adorable! I always love coming to see what you will have here on your blog - your talents are amazing!
ReplyDeleteThese shoes are enchanting. Love all the little details and the charms you've added are really beautiful!
