ReplyDeleteEven though it's predominantly white it still feels very colorful. And CAS, that's something I'm not used to see over here. But you master this style as well. A pretty card!

Oh my goodness this is just the cutest! I love it against the stark white (I assume this is a robin? which is my state's bird)! Such a darling card! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy, Yes it's a little robin from a Dina Wakley stamp set. Card was for a dear couple celebrating pregnancy, hence all the white etc. Nx
DeleteCongratulations for this very pure and lovely bird card, full of light and simplicity.
ReplyDeleteI like the circles around the little bird and the way you used watercolours for a very luminous work, like a beautiful sunset. Small dots of painting spread all over the background is a very nice idea.
xxxxx Véronique.
It sure feels good to make a CAS card every now and then. Yours turned out beautifully. I love how you coloured the little birdie. It pops out nicely from all the whiteness. xx
ReplyDeleteWhat for a wonderful card you made. Thanks for joining in bastel-traum blog. Hugs Ute (DT)
ReplyDeleteOMG, I'm absolutely blown away by your card!! I would NEVER have thought to paint a bird with rainbow colours. Its so very artistic and deserves to be framed I think!! And with the rest of the card so clean and CAS it makes the bird the star it deserves to be. Its genius and I'm so glad you shared it with us at Happy Little Stampers!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Nicola. I just love that little birdie too. Hugs Rita xxxx
